Fanda

My Story

Fanda is a one-year-old black and white guinea pig who came to us in August complete with his cage and a supply of hay. His owner developed an allergy and had to give him up. He is friendly and curious, and as soon as he hears a bag rustling he squeaks loudly, expecting vegetables. His favourites are cucumber, pepper and fresh dandelion. Guinea pigs are social animals and shouldn’t live alone, so we only rehome Fanda to a household that already has a guinea pig, or together with a friend. He also suits families with children who will look after him with an adult’s supervision.
