Volunteer Opportunities
Share your time and talents to make a direct impact on the lives of shelter animals.
Dog walking
Two-hour walks with our dogs along the marked trails around the pond. We provide the leads and treats – just bring sturdy shoes and a love of walking.
Cat socialising
Two hours in our cat room: read, play, and let the shy cats come to you in their own time. Calm and patience matter more here than experience.
Feeding and cleaning
A two-hour morning shift alongside our keepers: preparing food, washing bowls, changing blankets and cleaning the kennels. Hands-on work with results you can see straight away.
Adoption open day
On the first Saturday of every month we open the shelter to the public. Help us show visitors around, introduce the dogs and cats looking for a home, and run the children's corner.
Foster Program
Fostering saves lives by providing temporary homes for animals who need extra care, socialization, or simply more space than the shelter can provide. We provide all supplies, food, and medical care—you provide the love and temporary home.
